Yes, a deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your date and captain. This ensures your boat is reserved exclusively for your group, allowing us to plan the perfect route based on the Marco Island tide charts.
Gratuity is not included in the initial booking fee. While not mandatory, it is a kind way to show appreciation for your captain’s local expertise and hard work if you had a great day in the Ten Thousand Islands.
We depart from a convenient local marina with easy access to the Ten Thousand Islands National Wildlife Refuge. Detailed directions and the exact meeting address will be included in your confirmation email once your booking is finalized.
We ask that all guests arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. This allows us to load your gear, go over a quick safety briefing, and head out to the best shelling spots while the tide is right.
Safety is our absolute priority. If the weather in the Florida Everglades or Gulf is deemed unsafe by your captain, we will notify you immediately to either reschedule for a better day or provide a full refund of your deposit.
