What a great day out, couldn't ask for more action! Frank and I headed out for an afternoon trip in early fall under partly cloudy skies, with Goodland waters offering perfect conditions for our inshore adventure. The weather stayed comfortable throughout our time on the water, and the conditions were just right for what we had planned with Marco Fishing Company's Marco Island Backwater Fishing: Bent Rod Thrills Await!

Once the stage was set, we focused our efforts on bottom fishing, casting with live bait, and working some jigging techniques to target the inshore species that call these waters home. Frank managed to boat some solid Grey Snapper along with a nice Redfish during our session. The Goodland area continues to produce consistent action for anglers willing to work the structure and grass flats, and the combination of live bait presentations and jigging proved effective for connecting with quality fish. We wrapped up the trip with great catches and plenty of bent rods throughout the afternoon!
